Looks like another Hess/Pavel collaboration bonzer & judging from Steve Sh…’s comments he’s the lucky recipient. Love to see a couple more pics of this board.
It has a Greenroom lam because Rich has to get his stuff on every possible surface. It can be a Hess/Pavel combo, but the Greenroom lam is unnecessary. No more soul left with Pavel; it’s mass production these days.
Ordered two Pavel’s NO lams, resin loops, solid old-school pigments, glass on gebhearts. Come on dude Rich talked with me for 25 minutes and made my day. Pavel’s”THE” best fish shaper out there. He deserves some respect. He invented the speed dialer quad you donkey.
Some people need to get a handle on what mass production is, i live in the uk and got my pavel on a trip to PB. people over here wet their pants when they get a look at my board cos you just cant walk into a store here and pick one off the shelf. There is a world outside N america that can not easily get these boards. Merricks, rusty and the like thats a different thing altogether. mass produced ? i dont think so that guy needs to get out more or mabe go a bit further than the state line.
Playa hate Pavel all you want… and let him know you don’t like him… don’t ride his boards or his designs that have influenced the 100’s of boards in the water… Pavel has more soul in his pinky than you will ever know… the Hess/Pavel colab will net some amazing boards… just wait for the Sacred Craft….

September 23, 2007If there was a board meant for wood fins, it would be this one!
The proportional weight of the Hess boards and mostly the look are begging for ’em!

September 23, 2007JP, Looks like these came out really nice. How did the Curry tint go on Ian’s? The moonlight crew is the best.
