Playero Minimalist

Minimalist performer for Brigitte Yordan via one of the world's finest surf shops, Playero. Glassed with 4 oz S cloth and sealed with a wetsanded gloss; this thing felt insane under my arm. It's kind of similar to one of my favorite boards, Surfy Surfy: Gold Standard

I hear she is taking it to Indo. I'm jealous.

will a 4oz job last long in Indo? would be a shame to see a c-bros board destroyed too quick.

4 oz S cloth is aerospace grade, quality stuff and worth the extra $40 bucks!

...sports very clean lines
may be for Indo not so rounded tail (outline)

why put weight with more resin in a performance board?
go with speed finish JP

Hot! Hot! Hot! Now that is a high-performance surfboard!

I love that outline!

JP, what are the dims on that board?

Also, curious as to what blanks are being used on those these days...

A correctly applied and sanded wetsanded gloss adds minimal weight. One summer when I was 18 years old I did 500 Rustys with that sketchy "speed finish" crap. Probably gave me a brain tumor.

...I tell yo that a good speed finish (there s only one good product and is from Germany)
provides better seal (cause seal forever because is elastic, not like the resin that is not and absorve water with time)
also you have a whiter board for more time (I compared this everyday)
and very nice satin finish
and run water on water

yep, very toxic too

Nice board, cant beat a clean rounded pin. Sad she decided not to do any color, esp. considering the artists at Moonlight.

That vessel looks perfect. How I would love to slide that thing out of a bag in some exotic local. Sweet.

Side note:

Can anyone do pearlescent tints or sprays for surfboards? I'm curious if it's applicable to the foam or resin.
